Kansas City - April 30

logo--aidswalkkansascityWith tremendous support, over 180 Kansas City area Quest Diagnostics employees and their friends and family registered to support AIDS Walk Kansas City, April 30, 2016. The team blew past its original goal of $2,500, raising over $3,200. AIDS Walk Kansas City is the primary fundraiser for the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City, which distributes the proceeds to HIV and AIDS service organizations.

The Quest Diagnostics booth featured a 10-foot banner participants could sign and say for whom they were walking; face painters who were a hit with all ages; and country music star Chely Wright, who performed and mingled with fans. The event was a unique mix of fun and somber reflection for those we have lost, and a reminder that the fight is not over. After the event, when asked if they’d walk again, everyone gave a resounding “Yes!”
