Chicago - October 1
AIDS Run & Walk Chicago
On Saturday, October 1st, a team of 96 represented Quest Diagnostics for AIDS Run & Walk Chicago at the historic Soldier Field. The event consisted of a 5K Walk, a 5K Run and a 10K Run.
Braving the rain, the Chicago can-do spirit was well represented by the over 2,300 walkers and runners who participated in the event – and Team Quest was easy to spot, wearing bright green shirts with the company logo and a “Screening Saves Lives” message on the back.
We are very pleased with our turnout and contributions to AIDS Foundation of Chicago, said Joe Huber, Regional Marketing Director for the Great Midwest Region. This was our first year to sponsor the event, and the enthusiasm and turnout were fantastic.
Through fundraising and the sponsorship, Team Quest raised $11,000, and so far for 2016, the event has raised $400,000 with proceeds going to over 30 Chicago-based organizations helping to fight HIV/AIDS in both prevention and care.
We are very proud of our Chicago-based employees, their family and friends who represented Quest Diagnostics for such a meaningful event.
